Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all‑electric vertical take‑off and landing aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise. What You’ll Do:
  • The Aircraft Coordinator (Flight Test) manages the full maintenance workflow of Archer test aircraft, coordinating with program management, quality, engineering, and flight test leadership to plan and execute inspections, aircraft modifications, and maintenance.
  • Reports to and takes direction from the Manager, Flight Test Maintenance.
  • Schedules regular inspections and ensures proper aircraft record keeping using TRAX and SAP.
  • Coordinates aircraft release for flight or ground test to be executed by the flight test team.
  • Ensures all maintenance activities are scheduled and performed in accordance with federal regulations and Archer maintenance documentation.
  • Serves as the primary focal point and nexus for communication for all activities on the aircraft, scheduling future work such as modifications.
  • Manages large aircraft modifications during the certification campaign.
  • Prioritizes aircraft activities based on feasibility, practicality, and programmatic schedule goals.
  • Plans all availability for test events by working with the Test Director, Director of Flight Test, and Program Management.
  • Ensures all work is executed per Archer’s established maintenance process and procedures.
  • Provides aircraft status updates both above and below the organization.
What You Need:
  • 5+ years of hands‑on aircraft maintenance experience such as Crew Chief or Aircraft Coordinator, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with maintenance software such as TRAX, CAMP, or Corridor.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as SAP or Oracle Net Suite.
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance techniques and best practices.
  • Knowledge of wiring techniques and best practices (crimping, routing, securing, etc.).
  • A collaborative attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail for building cross‑functional relationships.
  • Ability to work with all levels of personnel and effectively interact with technicians and engineers.
  • Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Travel willingness: 5‑10% of the time.
Bonus

Qualifications:
  • A&P/IA certification.
  • Prior experience with electric aircraft/eVTOL or high‑voltage systems.
  • Working knowledge of composite airframe and repair.
  • Experience with CAD, NX, Confluence, and JIRA.

At Archer, we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent with the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business. For this position we target a base pay of $100,000‑$130,000. Actual compensation will be determined by job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
