Reliability Engineer

The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation with a deep understanding of physics and mechanical systems. This role operates at a design engineer level and requires hands‑on experience applying failure physics to real‑world engineering challenges.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in reliability engineering
• Advanced degrees are common within the team (many hold PhDs), though not required
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and professionally
• Comfortable presenting to stakeholders and collaborating across functions
• Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset; leadership is highly supportive and focused on team development

• Prior exposure to E‑beam technology is highly desirable

• Embedded within the design engineering team
• Supports 3–4 active programs within the division
• Works closely with the E‑beam division and cross‑divisional technical specialists
• Provides support on additional programs as needed
• Rapidly ramps up on new systems, architectures, and designs
• Partners with design engineers to embed best‑in‑class reliability practices throughout the development lifecycle

• Reliability plans
• Subsystem‑level reliability test plans
• Integrated system reliability strategies
• Failure analysis and root cause investigations
• Participates in design reviews, provides technical feedback, and signs off on designs (scope of authority may evolve based on experience and fit)
