POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Design Engineering Intern to support our engineering team in advancing process design and optimization initiatives.

This role offers hands-on experience working on real-world engineering documentation, equipment evaluation, and technical validation activities in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Digitize and revise redline documents, including:

* Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)

* Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

* Mechanical drawings

* Research and compare equipment vendor packages and process technologies to support design decisions

* Assist in validating and verifying process design elements and technical requirements

* Perform calculation checks and basic modeling to support process design work

* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure documentation accuracy and consistency

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* 3+ years of study in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field by the start of the internship

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Familiarity with process design principles and engineering documentation

* Experience with Aspen Plus (Aspen+) is a plus

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and technical documentation tools

* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

COMPENSATION:

The hourly range for this internship is $25.00 - $30.00.
