A fast-growing Building Automation Systems (BAS) division within a long-established mechanical and technology solutions firm is seeking an experienced Tridium Programmer in San Jose, CA
. This position is primarily office-based with roughly 10–15% site visits
, ideal for someone who prefers a development-focused role while staying connected to real-world project execution.

• Travel: Approximately 10–15% for job walks and project coordination

  Required:
  
  Tridium Niagara (N4, AX, R2), plus BACnet, Modbus, and LON integrations

• Develop, configure, and optimize applications within Tridium Niagara (N4/AX/R2)
• Integrate major BAS communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LON
• Assist in designing control system diagrams, network layouts, and panel details
• Create DDC logic, custom graphics, alarm strategies, and trend configurations
• Review submittals, update design packages, and prepare RFIs as needed
• Collaborate with PMs, subcontractors, and equipment vendors throughout the project lifecycle
• Support high-customization programming efforts with a strong emphasis on quality control
