For this role, SUSE hands‑on experience is mandatory, not optional.
Core Mandatory:- SUSE (SLES) Administration (installation, builds, patching, troubleshooting)
- UNIX Builds from scratch
- Production Support (monitoring, performance, capacity)
- Patching tools (SUSE Manager / Satellite / NIM)
- Bash/Python Scripting
- Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH)
- OS Hardening & Access Control
- AIX / RHEL / CentOS (in addition to SUSE)
- Ansible Automation
- VMware / Open Shift
- Hands‑on OS builds, patching, and troubleshooting
- Strong Ansible (write playbooks/roles, not just run)
- Practical Terraform experience (real usage, not basic)
- Good Python scripting
- Exposure to Open Shift / container platform
- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Someone who can start with minimal ramp‑up
