Staff Engineer, Design Verification

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions. As a Staff Design Engineer, you will design and analyze digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products.

• Contribute to the development of new product opportunities by assisting with the overall design, layout, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits
• Perform parasitic modeling and assist in design validation, reticle experiments, and required tape‑out revisions
• Lead all aspects of and manage the layout process, including floor‑planning, placement, and routing
• Perform verification processes with modeling and simulation using industry standard simulators
• Contribute to cross‑group communication to work toward standardization and group success
• Work with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering groups to ensure accurate manufacturability of product
• Proactively solicit guidance from Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to improve design quality
• Drive innovation into future memory generations within a dynamic work environment

• Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of design experience or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience
• Experience building automation pipelines or tooling in an engineering environment
• Experience working on larger datasets using Python and common ML/data libraries
• Experience developing new transactors and hybrid emulation models

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is: $ - $ a year. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses, and equity.
