Job Title:

Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Purpose:

Responsible for driving all supplier Quality Activities, including working with PCB, PCBA, Cables, Sheet Metal, Precision Machining, connectors, plastics, and electronic components such as IC, BGA, Capacitor, Resistors, Inductors both SMT and through Hole.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

* Manage effectively the Supplier Performance Programs, including SCAR closure timeliness and metrics

* Ensure supplier process controls provide 100% acceptance to Customer requirements.

* Drive division-wide supplier Quality issues and improvements to resolution

* Participate in Corporate Quality Audit improvement actions.

* Maintain and Improve supplier metrics, specifically QPPM and OTD targets

Education and Experience:

* 5+yrs experience as Supplier Quality Engineer

* Experience with 5S, FMEA, Cpk, GR&R etc.

* Experience leading and guiding a group of Receiving Inspection personnel

* Expertise in First Article process (Mostly for mechanical parts)

* Knowledge in metrology

* Progressively advanced experience in indirectly managing people.

* Effective presentations skills

* Six Sigma training and experience

* BS in engineering or related field.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office

Salary Range(annual): $93,000 - $103,000 . Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
