.
This is a HYBRID position located in San Jose, CA.
What you will be doing:Tasks:
- Technical clarification of the customer application and development of conceptual solution proposals (all active and passive components)
- Competent advice to the customer (developer) on technical questions for VISHAY components
- Clear technical understanding of the solutions available to the customer from all Vishay divisions.
- Internal communication, cooperation and negotiation with all divisions on behalf of our customers.
- Determination of the components behind the specific applications and design-in of the selected components
- Specifying and evaluating the customer's task using the existing components (possibly new product ideas for divisions)
- Systematic collection and arrangement of all relevant information on customer tasks and forwarding to the responsible divisions in the company
- Bringing application knowledge into the company (R&D, Marketing, Sales)
- Evaluating and qualification of the customer solution in the lab using typical equipment (DVM, signal generator, Oscilloscope etc.)
- Provide division with New Product Proposals based on the application knowledge and marketing research of the proposed product.
- Successfully completed BS degree in electrical engineering minimum, MS in electrical engineering preferred.
- Experience with electronic components (function / structure / application)
- Experience in board level design and evaluation
- Very good written and spoken English
- Negotiation and presentation skills
- Advanced public speaking skills
- MS Office knowledge
- Willingness to travel
