THE ROLE

The Product Development Group is looking for an NPI Program Manager focused on Adaptive and Embedded Computing products, with a strong emphasis on engineering execution for board and silicon orders across the product lifecycle. In this role, you will drive technical readiness for engineering builds, silicon availability, board bring‑up, and qualification activities by partnering closely with design, validation, planning, operations, and manufacturing teams to ensure boards and silicon are delivered in alignment with development and release milestones.

THE

PERSON

The ideal candidate combines strong technical program management skills with hands‑on understanding of board development, silicon readiness, and NPI execution. This role requires experience coordinating engineering demand, managing board and silicon order priorities, tracking build dependencies, and driving cross‑functional alignment across design, validation, operations, and manufacturing teams. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and end‑to‑end ownership are essential.

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Own board and silicon order execution across the NPI lifecycle, aligning engineering demand with prototype builds, bring‑up activities, validation needs, and key development milestones. Drive execution of board and silicon orders to support engineering schedules by partnering with design, validation, planning, and operations teams on priorities, constraints, and readiness plans. Manage board and silicon demand signals, monitor material and component availability, and coordinate resolution of technical and supply constraints that may impact board assembly, bring‑up, validation, and qualification.
  • Establish and improve engineering order management processes for boards and silicon, including build planning inputs, status reviews, escalation paths, and change control to maintain alignment across technical and operational stakeholders.

Coordinate with engineering, operations, and fulfillment teams to ensure board and silicon orders support prototype builds, lab validation, qualification milestones, and production ramp readiness. Lead readiness reviews for board and silicon order execution, including supply status, build readiness, technical risks, validation dependencies, and stakeholder alignment prior to major engineering milestones.

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field, with 7+ years of experience in hardware development, electronics manufacturing, NPI, or technical program management. Demonstrated experience managing board or silicon order execution in support of engineering builds, validation activities, and cross‑functional hardware development schedules.
  • Strong understanding of board development, silicon lifecycle, validation flows, and operational processes required to support engineering execution through NPI and production.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, risk management, change management, and project management. Experience working with quality management approaches, techniques, and principles to ensure quality.
  • Able to manage and organize multiple projects in parallel. Self‑motivated individual that enjoys establishing processes to improve the overall efficiency of the team.
  • Strong knowledge of project and productivity tools including Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
