Supermicro is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Engineer to join our GPU AI Cluster Solutions team. As a Product Engineer, you will play a critical role in presenting and promoting SMC L11/L12 solutions to customers, assisting Product Managers in identifying and clarifying customer requirements, collaboratively developing solution designs, and supporting installation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and cross-functional teams to ensure the overall technical design proposal meets customer requirements.
- Work closely with Product Managers to resolve issues throughout the development, production, and deployment phases.
- Partner with Product Managers to drive product lifecycle management from project kick-off through end-of-life (EOL).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 1+ years of engineering experience preferred.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills are required, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, promote solutions, address questions, and gather feedback.
- Experience in AI, High-Performance Computing (HPC), and liquid cooling solutions is preferred.
- Experience with network design, power solutions, mechanical engineering, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer is preferred.
- Understanding of data center market trends, as well as competitors’ strengths and weaknesses.
