Validation Engineer

Our client, a leader in high-speed transceiver technology, is seeking a Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Validation Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting silicon validation and characterization initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Develop characterization and silicon validation plans for high-speed transceivers

+ Define methodologies for characterization and validation of high-speed serial systems

+ Characterize high-speed SERDES using automated flows and data analysis

+ Create detailed characterization reports and analyze pre-silicon versus silicon measurements

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve capability, productivity, and quality

** What's Needed?*
* + Experience in characterizing PLL, CDR, TX/RX analog front-end components

+ Hands-on laboratory experience with equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and BERTs

+ Knowledge of transceiver electrical compliance testing (e.g., PCIE, IEEE 802.3, OIF-CEI)

+ Familiarity with automated testing methodologies and FPGA/SOC architectures

+ Understanding of PCB schematic and layout design principles
