We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to support Nextest internal systems across all product lines. This role provides hands‑on support for test systems, troubleshooting, and sustaining high‑performance standards for engineering and NPI pilot‑line operations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment while partnering across engineering, production, IT, and external vendors to keep systems running at peak performance.

• Provide technical support for Nextest internal test systems and testcells across all product lines.
• Support remote engineers by providing internal test system assistance and issue resolution.
• Conduct routine maintenance, upgrades, and calibration of test systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper functionality of critical hardware.
• Identify and resolve hardware and software issues in test systems using logs and performance data.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and IT teams to support system integration and functionality.
• Liaise with vendors and external partners as needed to resolve technical issues.
  
  Maintain detailed technical records and update documentation to support knowledge transfer and continuity.
• Adhere to and help enforce ESD safety practices to protect sensitive equipment.

• Strong technical expertise supporting engineering test systems and test cells.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in complex systems.
• Ability to analyze system logs and performance data to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working across engineering, production, and IT teams.
• Strong documentation skills to maintain technical records and support knowledge transfer.
• Commitment to ESD safety practices and maintaining high equipment reliability.
• Additional qualifications such as education level, years of experience, and preferred skills can be added once provided.

Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $74,100 - $110,200. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
