We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Applications Engineer Co‑op to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience supporting customers and working with internal engineering teams to provide technical support for timing, power, and connectivity products.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the sales team and field applications engineers to support customers in adopting timing, power, and wireless connectivity products.
- Assist in technical pre‑sales activities, including product demonstrations, presentations, and customer training.
- Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Provide opportunities for optional travel and customer visits during this co‑op.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Gather feedback from customers and relay it to product development teams.
- Assist in creating technical documentation, including competitive analysis.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work in‑person at the San Jose office five days a week.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Strong interest in semiconductor technology and applications.
- Basic understanding of timing, power, and wireless connectivity concepts.
- Enthusiastic, self‑motivated, and eager to learn.
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour, and for a Non-Engineering intern USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
