Product Development Engineer

Overview

Micron Technology is a world leader in memory and storage solutions. The role involves technical communication support, project management of LPDDR DRAM projects, electrical analysis, and product characterization.

• Commute to client’s office and provide technical communication support in person.
• Act as liaison between business partners and Micron.
• Manage ongoing LPDDR DRAM projects.
• Use Micron’s internal engineering tester and measurement tools to perform electrical analysis in the Micron Lab and business partner’s Lab.
• Collaborate with engineering groups to resolve process/defect related issues.
• Support product characterization and electrical fault analysis using in‑house equipment.
• Develop high‑quality, cost‑effective mobile DRAM testing strategies.
• Define and secure necessary test fixtures for memory and system testing.
• Travel 50% of time internationally and domestically.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a related occupation.
• Improving back‑end testing coverage/quality for Mobile DRAM products.
• Developing Mobile DRAM test strategies.
• Statistical tools experience (JMP and Perl) for detailed data analysis.
• Data parsing and analysis to improve yields, test times, and product quality.
• Proficient with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Experience with AI tools such as Copilot.
• Ability to write system control scripts.

US base salary range: $145,205 - $193,000.
