Systems Engineer
As an MCBU Product Architecture Engineer for DRAM, you will play a key role in shaping memory solutions for AI inference at the edge. You’ll build a deep understanding of Micron’s technologies while partnering with customers, researchers, and internal teams to identify opportunities and drive innovation. This role offers the chance to influence product direction and translate system-level insights into real-world solutions.
Responsibilities- Analyze system architectures using modeling, simulation, and prototyping tools
- Identify system bottlenecks with customers and propose innovative solutions
- Lead pathfinding for LPDDR-based module architectures
- Define memory features that enhance DRAM performance in AI workloads
- Mentor junior engineers and architects
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 12+ years of engineering experience
- Experience with LPDDR and/or DRAM module architectures
- Understanding of memory hierarchy, controllers, PHY, and SoC/ASIC design
- Knowledge of memory subsystems in high-performance computing
- Experience with TSV, stacked packaging, or 3D packaging technologies
- Exposure to hardware/software co-optimization or AI frameworks
- Experience participating in JEDEC or similar industry standards groups
- Japanese and English language proficiency
