We're partnering with one of the fastest-growing robotics and autonomous systems startups in Austin that is rapidly expanding its engineering organization and preparing to open a new office in San Jose, California.
The company has recently raised a significant Series B round, is already generating revenue, and is building cutting-edge autonomous defense and robotics technologies with a world-class engineering team. They are looking for exceptional engineers who thrive in highly technical, fast-paced environments and want to work on real-world systems that push the boundaries of robotics, AI, embedded systems, and mechanical engineering.
We're currently hiring across multiple senior and staff-level engineering disciplines.
Staff Mechanical EngineerDesign ruggedized electromechanical systems for harsh environments and military-grade applications. Lead mechanical architecture, structural analysis, FEA, vibration and thermal simulations, prototype development, and cross-functional integration with electrical and software teams.
Ideal background:- 9+ years of mechanical engineering experience
- Robotics, autonomy, or medical robotics experience
- FEA, modal, vibration, and thermal analysis
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Reliability (DFR)
Develop high-performance software powering advanced robotic systems with a strong emphasis on C++, performance optimization, and scalable architecture.
Ideal background:- Strong C++ (C++11/14/17/20) and Python
- Multithreading and concurrency
- Algorithms and data structures
- Git and modern development practices
- Robotics or autonomous systems experience preferred
Develop next-generation perception systems for autonomous platforms, including real-time drone detection, tracking, and classification using state-of-the-art computer vision and machine learning techniques.
Ideal background:- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 9+ years in machine learning and computer vision
- Python and C++
- Camera, LiDAR, and radar sensor integration
- Robotics or autonomous systems experience
Lead electrical architecture, PCB design, embedded software development, and systems integration for advanced autonomous robotic platforms.
Ideal background:- Electrical Engineering or related degree
- Altium, OrCAD, or Eagle
- PCB design and schematic capture
- Embedded C++ and Python
- Signal integrity and EMC
- Microcontrollers and power electronics
- Sensor and actuator integration
Develop real-time embedded software and firmware for mission-critical robotic systems while working closely with hardware and electrical engineering teams.
Ideal background:- 3+ years of firmware and embedded software experience
- C++ and Python
- Real-time embedded systems
