Job Description

Manage multiple commercial and/or industrial process projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost control. Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships through proactive communication and effective problem-solving.

Responsibilities

* Translate project scope, schedules, and technical requirements into clear direction for field leadership and subcontractors.

* Develop and manage project financials, including scopes of work, schedules of values, labor budgets, productivity KPIs, and cost tracking.

* Coordinate procurement and equipment planning to align materials, labor, and schedules.

* Participate in monthly financial forecasting and project reviews, identifying risks and opportunities early.

* Support and mentor project engineers and project staff, fostering accountability and team development.

* Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving technical, schedule, or cost challenges as they arise.

* Maintain accurate project documentation in accordance with company standards, contract requirements, and regulatory obligations.

* Uphold safety and quality standards on every project and jobsite.

Essential Skills

* Minimum 4-5 years of experience in project management, HVAC, piping design, plumbing, and budgeting.

* Hands-on engineering experience.

* Technical knowledge of HVAC sheet metal, hydronic piping, refrigerant piping, and equipment.

* BS in Engineering or Construction Management, or relevant experience.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; project/accounting software is a plus.

* Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

* Proven leadership abilities.

* Strong client relations skills.

* Ability to work in remote field offices.

* Ability to manage multiple projects.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience with large infrastructure projects is a plus.

* Experience in commercial construction.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Project.

* Proficiency in Autodesk.

* Familiarity with Coins ERP - Emcor.

The position is onsite in San Jose. The role involves working closely with project teams and requires the ability to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The work environment offers an opportunity to engage in a wide variety of projects, with recent bids accepted, ensuring plenty of work ahead.

This is a Permanent position based out of San Jose, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
