Senior Staff Engineer Test Technology & Solutions in our Research & Development team will merge creativity with technical expertise to shape future technology, drive groundbreaking projects, and bring new ideas to life.

• New Product Introduction (NPI):
  Develop and implement comprehensive test solutions for new products, including test strategy, test plan, and test execution, to ensure successful NPI to Mass Production Release
• QUAL Support:
  Provide expert support for QUAL activities, including test development, test validation, and test qualification, to ensure products meet quality and reliability standards
• HVM Support:
  Optimize test processes for high-volume manufacturing, focusing on yield improvement, defect reduction, and efficient production
• RMA Support:
  Analyze and resolve customer issues through failure analysis, root cause identification, and corrective action implementation
• Test Development:
  Design, develop, and maintain test programs, including test software and test hardware, to ensure efficient and effective testing
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure test solutions meet product requirements and align with business objectives
• Technical Leadership:
  Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, providing technical leadership and expertise to develop their skills
• Continuous Improvement:
  Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize test processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience working with ATE 93K testers, with a focus on NPI, QUAL, HVM, and RMA support
• Strong understanding of test engineering principles, including test strategy, test plan, and test execution
• Experience with test development, including test software and test hardware
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical data and identify solutions

• Experience with automotive devices and industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ASPICE)
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python, Perl)
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
• Certification in test engineering or a related field

Morgan Hill, CA – Minimum of $147,400 salary per year / Maximum of $202,700 salary per year
