As a Senior Equipment Engineer
, you will bring your hands on expertise to develop new equipment, improve current equipment designs and equipment documentation, manage equipment projects, and perform root cause analysis of non‑conforming equipment. This role will contribute to company projects by developing new/modified fixtures, supporting the Production line via fixture improvements/troubleshooting/NCMRs, leading internal equipment improvement initiatives, and working with suppliers to develop new complex fixtures.

An ideal candidate will have the ability to design and develop complex fixtures, be able drive projects to closure, be an excellent cross‑functional collaborator, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities at once.

• Equipment Design:
  You will apply your experience in mechanical design (ideally in manufacturing applications) to develop new equipment and develop upgrades/improvements to current equipment, specifically with ergonomics, reliability, and Production scale in mind.
• Complete Knowledge and Understanding of Equipment Documentation and Processes:
  You should demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of equipment documentation and processes. You will revise equipment documentation to improve equipment repeatability and robustness. You will also be responsible for updating the equipment control systems for equipment that you revise or implement.
• Test Equipment:
  You will provide test equipment solutions that prioritize throughput, ergonomics, and repeatability. You will be capable of developing or working with outside vendors to develop automated solutions for testing product.
