Mechanical design and development with 3+ years of experience in Semiconductor/High-tech/ Special purpose machine industry.

• Design experience using Solidworks, AutoCAD ProE or similar 3D CAD system is required.
• Experience designing Capital Equipment for Semiconductor Industry is preferred (vacuum vessels, wafer handling, motion mechanisms, etc).
• Knowledge of ion beam and/or vacuum physics is preferred.
• Knowledge in machined components.
• Sheet metal parts design and detailing.
• Design of weldments and fabrication knowledge.
• Knowledge of drafting standards, ASME Y 14.5 GD&T standard.
• Experience in SAP or similar PLM system is required.
• Knowledge of Engineering change notifications and implementing changes ECR/ECO/ECN.
• Structural and thermal finite element analysis experience (Solidworks Simulation, ANSYS, etc) is preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturing process and tolerance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Education:
  
  Mechanical Engineering curriculum with applicable industry experience, BE/B Tech/BS.
