Location:

San Jose, CA

Hours:

40 hours per week, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Domestic travel: up to 90% of time.

Salary: $112,546 – $126,400 per year. Compensation may include a sign‑on bonus, restricted stock units, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate design development efforts for optimal solutions for the logistics network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, ergonomics, associate experience, operational considerations, and fulfillment center layout interferences.

Develop and continuously improve technical and design specifications for automated and non‑automated material handling equipment.

Drive standardization with quantification and documentation of core design principles using lean methods.

Identify and test new technologies to continuously improve processes.

Support post‑mortem on designs and specifications after implementation in partnership with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers/integrators.

Work closely with partner teams in safety, ergonomics, and operations to build impactful products.

Develop performance specifications for facilities and equipment meeting unique operating requirements and safety codes.

Travel domestically up to 90% of the time to perform role responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications

A master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field and at least 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

OR a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the same field followed by at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Experience in each of the following:

Project engineering, process engineering, project management, manufacturing engineering, or related occupation.
Leading projects, programs or initiatives with continually increasing scope and impact.
Managing the lifecycle of cross‑functional projects, implementing automated equipment and/or integrated systems.

Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, etc.).
