For a global leader in the technology field, we are looking for a candidate to support the Hardware AR Team as a Project Coordinator / Engineering Program Specialist. This is an in-office, client-facing role that will collaborate closely with the client’s HW Engineering Program Managers, on but not limited to: material inventory and management, product schedules, Purchase Orders, configuration management, CM communications, budget tracking, and asset inventory control.
Top Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Oversee the end to end allocations process including: planning, communicating with relevant PoCs, following prioritization guidelines, monitoring delivery, reviewing requests vs budgets.
- Oversee material drive, material multipliers, coordinate material cost rollup, and issue Build POs.
- Build matrix coordination by proactively working with project stakeholders and working with them to understand requirements, strategize and plan material usage in build configs. Create mitigation plans for material CTB [clear to build] issues while staying under budgeted config counts.
- Configurations for BOMs by gathering multiple cross functional inputs to create detailed material lists. Provide OK2
Purchases and continue to maintain BOM changes throughout the build. - Coordinate pack-out process by creating packaging plan and ensuring CM’s readiness on EPS processes.
- Ensure accurate and successful execution of allocation plan for both ENG and Carriers which include complex carrier selection processes and PPP allocations/borrows [TW specific].
- Support all System EPS R&Rs during in region / build hours [TW specific]
- Create and maintain process documentation and training materials.
- Don’t be satisfied with the status quo - continuously explore and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and value add for the client.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Program Management - preferable in Engineering and/or in AR/VR.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in internal and external Stakeholder management and communication
- Ability to meet and exceed client requirements while working independently and under minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively negotiate in-line with business objectives
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively while working toward aggressive deadlines
- Good understanding of and interest in AR and new technologies
