Position: Key Account Project Engineer USA (female/male/diverse)

Responsibilities

  • Work as Project Leader for the technical implementation of projects at the key account in the consumer electronic industry by developing and providing adhesive solutions.
  • Analyze customer needs and determine technical and process-related requirements.
  • Continuously coordinate project-related tasks with the customer and the technical departments at DELO headquarters in Germany and subsidiaries (Technology Center, Process Management, Product Management, and Research & Development).
  • Build application-specific process know‑how and support the customer’s contract manufacturer to implement the process.
  • Proactively guide and coordinate participating colleagues in other sales regions for these projects.
  • Track and identify technical trends relevant to the specific key account and derive possible fields of application (trend scouting). Exchange with experts to gain technical information on future trends or running projects (road‑map meetings).
  • Provide feedback to and work in close cooperation with the Global Key Account Manager.
  • Be located in the Greater San Jose Area (CA).
  • Have a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Process, Material, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical areas);
    Bachelor’s required, master’s welcome.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in a technical corporate environment – preferably as Sales or Application Engineer in the adhesive sector or similar industries such as surface treatment, consumer electronics, semiconductor industry.
  • Demonstrate ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Prior expertise in adhesives is not required; intensive and exciting training will be provided in Germany.
  • Show willingness to travel.
