Embedded Systems Validation Engineer / Lab Support Engineer

Our client, a leading semiconductor and embedded technology company, is seeking an Embedded Systems Validation Engineer / Lab Support Engineer to join their team. As an Embedded Systems Validation Engineer / Lab Support Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Validation Team supporting Embedded Systems, Platform Validation, and Hardware Enablement Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and self-motivation which will align successfully in the organization.

Embedded Systems Validation Engineer / Lab Support Engineer

Location:

San Jose, CA (100% Onsite)

Pay Range: $36-$38/hr

Duration: 6-Month Contract

What's the Job?
  • Perform post-silicon validation, performance, power, and thermal testing on embedded platforms.
  • Execute software and system-level validation activities on embedded Linux-based systems.
  • Set up power/performance measurement platforms and execute test plans.
  • Support hardware configuration, debugging, shipping, inventory, and documentation activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate software releases and provide technical feedback.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in embedded systems, validation, lab support, or hardware testing.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems, PC architecture, BIOS, ACPI, device drivers, and operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded hardware platforms and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
