Job SummaryAir Systems is seeking a highly motivated and experienced BAS Project Manager to join our dynamic team in San Jose, CA. This role is essential to managing the successful execution of BAS projects and driving the continued expansion of our controls department.
Responsibilities- Lead BAS project teams to achieve departmental and organizational goals, including financial targets.
- Proactively identify and escalate project issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Estimate and sell BAS construction projects and change orders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ASI clients and partners.
- Oversee procurement of materials and allocation of manpower for assigned BAS projects.
- Research and understand client needs: such as, energy and water efficiency, system serviceability, and short- and long-term operational goals.
- Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for BAS projects.
- Coordinate work schedules and resources with internal divisions and external stakeholders.
- Support sales initiatives, including participation in client meetings and site visits.
- Manage projects through the entire lifecycle, from concept to completion.
- Organize and lead project meetings with internal teams and clients.
- Actively participate in industry-related organizations and professional development opportunities.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Building Automation Systems.
- Experience with Automated Logic Controls, Tridium Niagara, and/or Distech Controls strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership and analytical skills.
- Strong time management capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple client relationships and project priorities.
- Practical knowledge and experience with HVAC systems, electrical controls, boilers, chillers, and overall building automation.
- 3–5 years of experience in energy management, building commissioning, and/or system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Competitive salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience.
