Senior Product Engineer

The Product Engineer executes yield analysis, test program development, and failure analysis for assigned semiconductor products from qualification through mass production. This role focuses on hands-on data analysis, root-cause debugging, and cross-functional coordination while collaborating with design, wafer fab, test, and quality teams. This role offers the opportunity to support cutting-edge silicon products in a fast-growing US semiconductor company and contribute directly to high-impact production programs.

Perform wafer-level and final test data analysis to identify and root-cause yield loss for assigned products.

Develop and refine test programs; debug and resolve test failures with test engineering.

Failure analysis — Drive root-cause investigation on failed units, coordinating with FA labs, design, and fab engineering.

NPI support — Support qualification, characterization, and ramp-to-volume for new products.

Customer support — Serve as technical point of contact for quality and performance issues raised by customers.

Cross-team collaboration — Work with design, fab process, packaging, and quality teams to resolve issues.

Write scripts and reports for yield analysis, test data tracking, and characterization flows.

8+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor Product Engineering, with deep "old school" knowledge of classic PE fundamentals across test, yield, and failure analysis.

Strong background in wafer-level and final test data analysis, with proven ability to root-cause yield excursions.

Solid understanding of test program development, test flow, and ATE-based test methodologies.

Practical experience driving failure analysis, coordinating with FA labs, design, and fab engineering to close root cause.

Hands-on experience supporting NPI, product qualification, and ramp-to-volume activities.

Familiarity with characterization, reliability testing, and product/process improvement over the product lifecycle.

Experience serving as a technical point of contact for customer-facing quality and performance issues.

Scripting skills in Python, Perl, or similar for data analysis and automation.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills; comfortable operating at a senior, manager, or director level with cross-functional teams.
