Senior Manufacturing Engineer
San Jose, CA (100% Onsite)
12+ Month Contract (Strong potential for extension)
Inte Pros is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join one of our leading technology and medical device clients in San Jose, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to support new product development by designing, building, and implementing manufacturing equipment, fixtures, and inspection processes while working alongside cross-functional engineering teams.
This is an individual contributor role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, and can independently manage multiple technical projects.
Responsibilities- Lead the purchase, assembly, installation, and validation of custom and commercial manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
- Design and develop custom inspection fixtures and equipment.
- Author manufacturing documentation, including:
- Work Instructions
- Inspection Procedures
- Attribute Charts
- PPAP Documentation
- Create engineering drawings for repair components.
- Coordinate and troubleshoot incoming inspections and First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Support the setup and optimization of manufacturing lines for product repair and inspection.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to improve production processes.
- Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously while independently solving technical challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience building, assembling, and testing manufacturing fixtures and equipment.
- Experience authoring manufacturing documentation and engineering work instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and component prints.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations or production lines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with LabVIEW and/or NI Test Stand
- Medical device manufacturing experience
- Experience supporting manufacturing line development and optimization
- Experience with inspection fixtures and automated test equipment
- 100% Onsite
- San Jose, CA
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
