** Job Description
** We are seeking a Test Equipment Engineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining test equipment at our factory site, ensuring reliable and efficient operation. You will handle equipment troubleshooting, tester control and qualification, support GR&R procedures, maintain spare parts, perform minor repairs, and manage equipment setup and qualification. Equipment SPC (Statistical Process Control) will also be a key part of your responsibilities.
** Responsibilities
* ** Maintain and service test equipment at the factory site
* Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly
* Manage tester control and conduct tester qualification
* Support GR&R (Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility) processes for equipment
* Maintain an inventory of spare parts and oversee minor repairs as needed
* Set up and qualify new and existing test equipment
* Implement and monitor Equipment SPC to ensure ongoing process control
* Maintain accurate equipment records and documentation
** Requirements
* ** Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
* Experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, preferably in optoelectronic manufacturing
* Familiarity with tester qualification and GR&R procedures
* Understanding of equipment SPC principles and application
* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities
