Engineering Prototype Technician
We are recruiting an Engineering Prototype Technician for general mechanical prototype support with a focus on cable harness assembly for the Mechanical Engineering Team at Nextest, Teradyne Memory Business Unit.
The technician will be responsible for assembling, testing and repairing cable harness prototypes, as well as general assistance with memory test equipment/fixture/tester.
Experience with harness assembly techniques, and familiarity with crimping tools and wire stripping methods.
Experience with safety practices around electricity and electrical components.
Experience with building mechanical prototypes.
Experience with small hand tools/Power Tools. (screwdrivers, etc.)
Experience with a Digital Voltmeter
The ability to be on site 5 days a week, hours negotiable.
Able to use Client Office (Excel/Word/PDF, etc.)
5 years of related experience is desired.
Ability of lift up to 50 pound.
Able to work overtime if required.
