Senior Photonics Test Systems Engineer

Lumicity is partnered with a growing, well-funded startup that is creating novel silicon photonic technology to address bottlenecks in AI processing.
This is a high impact position with the company, where you will own how optical systems are measured from first prototype through to HVM.
Compensation:
Competitive Base + Equity
The skills needed for the role include:
- Hands-on experience building photonic / optical test stations from scratch and scaling them through to production
- Ability to build and debug optical measurement systems.
- Sound knowledge of optical instrumentation, including but not limited to; OSA, tunable lasers, OTDR/OFDR, BERT.
- Experience with wafer, die, or module-level characterization.
- Any experience automating test benches, using Python, would be advantageous.
