Application Engineer​/Technical Customer Interface

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical interface between customers and Veri Silicon internal teams for ASIC, SoC, IP licensing, and turnkey design service engagements
• Support pre-sales and post-sales customer activities including technical presentations, solution alignment, proposal reviews, and issue resolution
• Work closely with Sales teams to support new business development opportunities in North America
• Coordinate with worldwide engineering teams to define schedules, deliverables, resource planning, and project execution milestones
• Drive customer core team meetings involving cross-functional engineering teams
• Support NPI (New Product Introduction) programs from pre-silicon through qualification and production ramp
• Translate customer technical requirements into actionable engineering deliverables
• Track and manage project schedules, risks, dependencies, and customer deliverables
• Interface with customers on technical topics including:
• IP integration
• system performance
• power optimization
• manufacturing readiness
• Coordinate issue escalation and resolution across engineering, operations, and customer teams
• Assist customers with silicon bring-up, validation, and production ramp activities
• Support customer presentations, documentation, and technical reviews

• 7+ years of experience in semiconductor industry with emphasis on:
• Design Services
• Semiconductor systems
• 5+ years of customer-facing experience in:
• Field Applications Engineering
• Technical Program Management
• Customer Engineering
• Technical Account Management
• Strong understanding of end-to-end chip development flow including:
• verification
• packaging
• production ramp
• Experience managing complex semiconductor projects in fast-paced global environments
• Solid understanding of fabless semiconductor ecosystem and foundry flows
• Experience coordinating worldwide hardware/software engineering teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to interface effectively with customers and executives
• Ability to manage schedules, priorities, risks, and technical deliverables across multiple programs
• Self-directed, motivated, and results-driven
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Experience with AI, multimedia, vision, edge computing, automotive, or cloud/datacenter So Cs
• Knowledge of GPU/NPU/DSP/ISP or high-performance computing architectures
• Experience with semiconductor IP licensing and integration
• Familiarity with NPI, qualification, and manufacturing operations
• Experience leading hardware development teams or customer programs
• Experience supporting Tier-1 OEMs, ODMs, hyperscalers, or fabless semiconductor customers
• Chinese Mandarin speaking is a plus
