PAY RANGE: $20.50 per hour
Position Overview:
The Sharks Foundation 50/50 Raffle Lead will be responsible for supporting the execution of the raffle during San Jose Sharks home games in accordance with California State Laws and goals set by the Sharks Foundation. The 50/50 Raffle will take place at every Sharks home game during the 2026-27 hockey season, where one lucky winner will receive 50% of the total raffle ticket sales and the Sharks Foundation will receive the other 50% to support charitable organizations that fall in line with the Sharks Foundation's mission and giving pillars.
The 50/50 Lead needs to be reliable, organized, motivated, and enthusiastic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Working alongside the Sharks Foundation 50/50 Raffle manager, this position will be expected to:
Support game day operations surrounding the raffle Assist, train, and motivate 50/50 Raffle sellers Coordinate start and end of game logistics, such as device pick-up and return, pre-game meeting set-up and tear down, and set-up/movement of 50/50 kiosks around the Concourse Ability to complete 50/50 office responsibilities on game nights such as overseeing the raffle management online system and ticket printer maintenance Keep inventory of 50/50 supplies and communicate material needs in a timely manner Represent the Sharks Foundation and the San Jose Sharks in a positive manner Perform other tasks and projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays (all with advance notice) Available for all 42 San Jose Sharks 2026-27 season home games 6-hour average shift beginning 2-3 hours prior to game start time and ending roughly 1 hour after the game ends (typically from 4 p.m.
-10 p.m. for a night game) 1-2 years of nonprofit and/or event planning experience 1-2 years successful leadership experience Exceptional time management, problem solving, technology troubleshooting, and organizational skills Independent and strategic thinker Team player with strong work ethic and high level of integrity Excellent communication skills Ability to stay calm under pressure
Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, crouch and utilize a computer for extended periods of time Communicate via phone and email with a variety of individuals Ability to operate, transport, and manipulate certain equipment up to 25 lbs. with or without accommodations Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 25 lbs. with or without accommodations Physically navigate stairs at SSE facilities during normal work hours and events with or without accommodation
