THE ROLE:

The Senior Manager, Strategic Finance will report to the Director of Strategic Finance and serve as a key member of the AI Group (AIG) Finance team. This role is a finance partner to AI business leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders, supporting AMD’s rapidly growing AI business through high‑impact AI infrastructure and strategic commercial deals. The role requires significant interaction with senior executives and cross‑functional leaders.

This position sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, and execution – owning deal economics, decision support, governance materials, and ongoing executive reporting on in‑flight deals and AMD financial exposure. The role works closely with Business Development/GTM, Corporate Development, Product, Treasury, Accounting, Legal, and other partners to ensure financial alignment and execution readiness.

THE PERSON:

We are seeking a strategic, execution‑oriented finance leader who thrives in ambiguity and brings strong analytical rigor, sound judgment, and an ownership mindset. You can translate complex deal constructs and financial terms into clear, decision‑ready insights for senior leaders, while building strong cross‑functional partnerships to drive disciplined execution. You must also take ownership of a new and growing strategic finance function for AIG, noting and acting on opportunities for continuous improvement.
