Job SummaryThis is a role that strategically focuses on delivery of Avidbank’s deposit products to new and existing client segments to increase the share of wallet and revenue. The role requires consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgment in matters of significance to provide high‑level support to the treasury management team and its clients.
Major Functions- Responsible for new sales to qualified prospects and account retention of existing clients specializing in the professional management of but not limited to:
- Title & Escrow Companies
- 1031 Exchange Companies
- Contractor Retention Escrow
- Homeowners Associations
- Commercial Property Management
- Any other fiduciary centric specialty niches
- This is a role that strategically focuses on delivery of Avidbank’s deposit and treasury management products to new and existing client segments to increase the share of wallet and revenue.
- The SVP Specialty Deposits Banker will be responsible for driving the growth of deposits for the bank, in partnership with Avidbank’s Treasury Management team, who together will offer innovative best‑in‑class product suites to clients.
- The role holder will be tasked with the development of distinctive deposit products and related support models, with the aim of providing excellent customer service to the targeted client base.
- The SVP Specialty Deposits Banker will work closely with the compliance and credit teams to ensure adherence to policies, processes, and Service Level Agreements ("SLAs") on the full cycle of product provision, while ensuring compliance with all internal controls.
- Responsibility is expected in the delivery of end‑to‑end propositions to customers through planning, managing and effectively selling of the deposit solutions in partnership with the Treasury Management and Relationship Management teams.
- The role holder is to ensure effective delivery of the customer value propositions where revenue generation can be expeditiously realized to achieve the desired financial objectives of the team and the bank.
- Develop comprehensive depository and treasury management proposals to close new, profitable sales opportunities.
- Develop an extensive industry presence through active involvement in industry related trade associations.
- Responsible for account retention of association management clients will involve attention to client needs, insuring superior bank operations, treasury management services, specialized remittance processing and pre‑qualifying corporate and association loan package requests.
- New sales will involve consistent calling on prospects.
- Must cooperate and work effectively with other departments within the bank in order to independently achieve successful solutions to relationship management and requests.
- Maintain institutional knowledge of leading competitors' products, new technologies surrounding them and loan administration and credit underwriting practices.
- Participate in financial planning process and present any changes to revenue forecast on a quarterly basis. Have a pipeline of deals from initiation to revenue realization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
- Understand government regulations with particular emphasis on the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations and the fact that compliance with BSA regulations is an enterprise responsibility.
