We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in FPGA‑based solutions across the Physical AI domain, including robotics, autonomous systems, industrial automation, and edge‑AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities Market Development & Strategy- Identify and prioritise target segments:
- Robotics: industrial & collaborative robots, autonomous mobile robots, humanoids, end‑of‑arm tooling
- Autonomous systems: drones/UAVs, autonomous ground & off‑road vehicles, autonomous material handling
- Industrial & factory automation: PLC/PAC controllers, motion & servo‑drive control, machine control, IIoT/edge gateways
- Edge AI: edge AI appliances & gateways, smart cameras & sensors, on‑premise inference platforms
- Track and interpret trends in:
- Edge AI and on‑device inference (model deployment, quantisation, AI acceleration)
- Multi‑sensor fusion (camera, LiDAR, IMU, force/torque)
- Deterministic control, multi‑axis motion, industrial networking convergence (fieldbus → TSN)
- Industry
4.0/IIoT, predictive maintenance, software‑defined factories
- Identify opportunities mandating:
- Build and cultivate relationships with OEMs, industrial‑automation vendors, autonomous‑system developers, edge‑AI platform vendors, and system integrators.
- Work with Sales to influence system‑level design, safety architecture and mandate FPGA‑based solutions.
- Secure design‑ins across platforms and derivatives; support technical sales discussions in motor control, industrial networking, sensor fusion, edge‑AI inference, and functional‑safety implementation.
- Engage in system‑level discussions surrounding perception → planning → actuation pipelines and control‑architecture trade‑offs.
- Manage relationships with sensor/encoder/drive vendors, industrial networking and control‑automation vendors, IP providers, and AI‑stack vendors.
- Mandate joint solutions and reference designs to accelerate customer adoption.
- Develop solution briefs, reference architectures, positioning documents, ROI/TCO analyses.
- Support Sales teams with use‑case messaging, customer presentations and deal progression.
