The RoleThe Analyst is responsible for supporting a portfolio of clients that consists of institutional investors.
Key Responsibilities- Underwrites and coordinates the closing of Fund Finance credit products in compliance with the Bank’s lending policies and procedures.
- Reviews information, evaluates risk, and engages with clients, building relationships with appropriate stakeholders. Communicates internally to recommend and execute on responses to changing situations for clients / across the portfolio broadly. Ensures that portfolio management practices meet Avidbank standards.
- Analyzes market conditions to ensure proper underwriting standards and portfolio management is being maintained.
- Performs pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
- Gathers and analyzes all information necessary to present a financing request to senior management or Loan Committee for approval.
- Solves problems relative to processing and servicing of loans within the portfolio; prepares loan disbursements in accordance with agreements.
- Reviews quarterly financial reporting, borrowing bases, and compliance certificates to assess compliance with credit agreements.
- Thorough understanding of financial services and banking products.
- Strong underwriting and portfolio management skills.
- Ability to manage complex credits and client relationships.
- Background in Fund Finance a plus.
- Results driven.

- Skilled communicator.
- Ability to interpret financial data and reports and when necessary recommend appropriate actions.
- Ensures absolute confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through a Bachelor's degree along with at least 2 years of experience.
