Responsibilities
- Managing collection activities on delinquent member accounts
- Assessing delinquent accounts and determining strategies for collection
- Collaborating with internal and external partners for account resolution
- Engaging with members to discuss delinquencies
- Managing mortgage collections and overseeing repossession processes
- Representing the Credit Union in bankruptcy proceedings
- Preparing reports on collection activities for management
- High School diploma
- 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training in financial institutions
- Comprehensive knowledge of lending operations, products, services, and applicable laws and regulations, including Fair Debt Collection Practices.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and online research tools.
