Sales Rep, Pelvic Health - San Francisco

Remote position. The successful candidate must reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance are essential, and the driver’s record will be reviewed as part of the application. Travel outside the territory will also be required, providing broader engagement opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Selling Interstim devices for specific therapies to physicians, institutions, payors, and other appropriate medical staff
  • Partnering with strategic implanting centers to develop the account/implanter practice
  • Providing product and therapy technical support and service
  • Consulting on strategic management and analysis of trends
  • Utilizing appropriate Neuro business partners to present marketing and business plans to accounts for territory development and growth
  • Other activities as they arise, as assigned by the sales leadership
Must Have:

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years of experience*
  • OR Associate’s Degree AND 4+ years of experience*
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years of experience*
* Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences Nice to Have
  • Solid knowledge of the reimbursement climate
  • Experience calling on physicians in relevant referral accounts such as neurology, urology, colorectal surgery
  • Experience in developing new, innovative markets
  • Experience making multiple referral calls on a daily basis
  • Familiarity with the operating room environment
  • Business planning, consulting, and territory financial analysis; preferred knowledge of managed care
  • Experience with physiology/clinical therapies and implantable devices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and teamwork skills
  • Conceptual/consultative sales skills
  • Understanding of quality policy/system items that are applicable
  • Ability to follow all work/quality procedures to maintain compliance

Preference will be given to local qualified candidates and those with Medtronic experience.

Job Requirements
  • Frequent required travel to customer clinics, hospitals, and off‑site meetings.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance. Your driving record will be reviewed and considered as part of the application. You must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory and may require overnight travel.
  • Regular independent mobility and computer use are required.
