The Double Tree by Hilton Hotel San Jose is looking for a Front Desk Agent to join the team! This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has a passion for customer service and desire to grow within the hospitality industry. Ideal candidates for this role will possess- Availability to work a flexible schedule that would include nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight if needed
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- At least one (1) year of customer service
- Hotel experience is highly desired
- Experience with OnQ PM System for Front Desk and/or other related systems is a plus
Full availability including overnight shifts, weekends & holidays.
Hourly rateThe starting hourly rate for this role is $25.56 and will increase after 90‑day probation period to $31.95 per hour. This hourly rate is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

- Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirming guest information and room rate, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing a welcome packet and ensuring guests know the location of their room and/or are accompanied by a bell person.
- Respond to guest inquiries in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Provide driving and/or walking directions to local destinations.
- Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel, including local and community events and attractions.
- Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
- Provide or obtain accurate information.

Front Office Upselling Incentive Program – commission‑based program based on upsell generated revenue. Revenue is calculated as time of guest check‑out. Upsell revenue can include room type upgrades, early check‑in fee, late check‑out fees and late cancellation fees.
