The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and assigned areas to Hyatt standards. This role helps create a welcoming guest experience by maintaining exceptional cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail, while working efficiently and safely in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Guestroom Cleaning & Presentation- Clean and service guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing high‑touch surfaces.
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly (toilets, showers/tubs, sinks, mirrors) and replenish towels, toiletries, and amenities.
- Replace linens and terry according to standards and turn rooms promptly to support arrivals and occupancy needs.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance concerns, or missing/damaged items; report issues promptly.
- Stock housekeeping carts with linens, amenities, and supplies; maintain par levels.
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies safely and according to guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping closets and storage areas.
- Provide courteous, professional interactions with guests and respond to requests when appropriate.
- Follow “do not disturb” procedures and respect guest privacy at all times.
- Communicate room status updates accurately and in a timely manner per hotel process.
- Follow proper lifting techniques and safety procedures, including use of PPE as required.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, sanitation standards, and brand expectations.
- Support deep cleaning projects and help with other housekeeping tasks as needed (e.g., public areas, laundry support).
This is an hourly position with a compensation of $19 per hour.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience.
- Familiarity with cleaning tools, chemicals, and safe handling procedures.
- Basic English communication skills (bilingual skills are a plus).
