Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dynamic and motivated Mid-level Purchaser to join their client's team in San Jose, California. This role is perfect for someone with purchasing experience in EMS, Component, and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) who is looking to advance their career with a global industry leader. Responsibilities- Manage and update the Paycom database for new hire onboarding paperwork, including data entry, reference checks, E-Verify, and compliance with I-9 documents.
- Assist with compiling timecard information for payroll processing.
- Arrange meetings, compile reports, compose letters/VOEs, and handle special projects as directed.
- Handle a high volume of inbound telephone calls and emails.
- Administer benefits and open enrollment.
- Support all onboarding functions and ensure a positive HR experience for every employee.
- Address employee issues with a positive and supportive approach.
- Assist with internal and external job movements, including preparation of job postings and new hire packets.
- Update and maintain job descriptions.
- Assist with employee relations, including data gathering and investigations.
- Develop and implement HR best practices.
- Direct FMLA, ADA, and disability workers' compensation inquiries.
- Assist with inquiries related to benefits, retirement, and compensation, routing questions to appropriate resources.
- Support additional HR duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, preferred but not required in lieu of experience.
- Proven experience in purchasing, particularly with a focus on PCBA components.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting supplier relationships.
- Familiarity with quality standards and specifications for PCBA components.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work with a variety of teams.

Monday to Friday, 1st shift.

Salary: $78,000-$85,000 DOE.
