The Executive Business & People Partner is a culture focused, highly collaborative, cross-functional role supporting executive coordination and People operations. You'll serve as a key partner to the business, ensuring internal workflows, people operations, and executive tasks run smoothly and efficiently. This individual serves as a trusted operational partner to the CEO while also acting as an integral member of the People function helping ensure organizational effectiveness, strong internal communication, and a positive, values-aligned employee experience.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving startup environment, brings strong organizational discipline, exercises sound judgment, and operates with professionalism and discretion. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys enabling leaders and teams to do their best work while contributing meaningfully to company culture and employee engagement.
$90,000 - $125,000 a year
Executive Support- Provide executive support to the CEO, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, and correspondence.
- Prepare and organize executive communications, presentations, and internal updates.
- Attend meetings as needed, capture key decisions and action items, and help drive follow-through.
- Conduct research and synthesize information to support informed decision-making.
- Manage travel logistics, offsites, conferences, and company events.
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters with the highest level of discretion.
- Manage expense reporting and related administrative processes.
- Act as a trusted and approachable resource for employee questions including general HR inquiries.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a welcoming employee experience.
- Maintain electronic employee files.
- Assist in developing and maintaining employee handbooks, policies, and HR process documentation aligned with company values and best practices.
- Maintain data integrity within HRIS systems.
- Support and administer benefit programs, employee leaves, workers compensation, etc.
- Support recruiting logistics, follow-ups, and referral communications while contributing to a high-quality candidate experience reflective of Visby’s culture and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in executive support and people operations (startup experience strongly preferred).
- Experience coordinating projects, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic context and tactical execution.
- High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal judgment.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Results-oriented, resourceful, and detail-driven.
- Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
