Responsibilities

Team Introduction

Performance & Incentives (P&I) are powerful tools for furthering the company's strategic goals. A robust P&I strategy influences the organization's ability to attract and retain the best talent, while creating a strong alignment of individuals' interests with the organization's strategic goals. The P&I team at Byte Dance benchmarks and strives for best practice and ROI in developing competitive C&B policies. The P&I team works on a wide range of projects, including developing new world-class compensation policies, conducting market research, analyzing big data and benchmarking, and collaborating with departments inside and outside of HR to serve the organization.

  • Design benefit strategy for LATAM region, Portugal and Spain to ensure adequacy, compliance and competitiveness;
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. HR Operations, HRBPs, Legal, etc.) and external vendors (brokers and insurers) on project delivery;
  • Collect and monitor global legislation and benchmark trends;
  • Handle escalations together with HR Ops/HRBPs and advise on the benefits policies and solutions;
  • Contribute to global projects and roll out global initiatives with local context in mind.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and market research capabilities: gather market data, analyze trends, and conduct surveys;
  • Great communication skills: able to communicate effectively with employees, the broad HR team and business leadership, and comfortable presenting programs and plans to employee groups, HR and leadership teams;
  • Great report writing skills: able to write proposals based on research and analysis, which are presentable to stakeholders;
  • Strong ownership, ethics and discretion: able to reach goals while handling confidential information ethically and discreetly.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferably at least 3 years of experience in HR/Benefits; in-house or consulting experience is preferred.

    For Pay Transparency Compensation Description (Annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $79,800 - $132,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one component of the Total Package, which may include discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.

    Benefits may vary by employment nature and country. Employees have day-one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and more. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays, 10 paid sick days, and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (pro-rated at hire with tenure-based accruals).
