Position: Staff Recruiter, G&A

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all‑electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all‑electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

We are seeking a strategic and results‑driven Staff Recruiter to lead full‑cycle recruitment for our SG&A (Selling, General & Administrative) functions. This role will partner closely with senior leaders across departments such as Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, Sales, IT, and Operations to attract, assess, and hire top‑tier talent that drives business performance.

The ideal candidate is a consultative talent advisor with strong business acumen, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of hiring high‑impact corporate talent in fast‑paced environments. We are highly collaborative and work closely with our hiring teams and as a result, require recruiters to work onsite regularly at our San Jose offices.

What you’ll do Strategic Talent Partnership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across SG&A functions.
  • Develop and execute tailored recruiting strategies aligned with workforce planning and business objectives.
  • Provide market intelligence, talent insights, and compensation trends to inform hiring decisions.
Full‑Cycle Recruiting
  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for mid‑to‑executive level roles across Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, Sales Operations, IT, and other corporate functions.
  • Conduct intake meetings, define role requirements, and create compelling job descriptions.
  • Source, screen, interview, and present high‑quality candidates.
  • Lead structured interview processes and ensure fair, inclusive hiring practices.
Talent Sourcing & Pipelining
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and recurring SG&A roles.
  • Leverage diverse sourcing channels including Linked In, referrals, networking, industry associations, and direct outreach.
  • Proactively engage passive candidates and nurture long‑term relationships.
Stakeholder & Process Management
  • Drive alignment among hiring managers and interview teams.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance.
  • Manage offer negotiations and close candidates effectively.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics (talent sourced, submitted, conversions, time‑to‑fill, offer acceptance, etc.).
What you need
  • 7+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, with significant focus on corporate/SG&A functions.
  • Background recruiting for Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, or Technology corporate roles.
  • Demonstrated success hiring at various levels, from mid to senior; including senior management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices in inclusive hiring.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Data‑driven mindset with experience using ATS and recruiting analytics tools.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in startup and high‑growth, publicly traded, organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Proficient with Greenhouse.
