Director of Product Management for Firefly Custom Models
, you will define and drive the strategic vision for how creative and marketing teams can train generative AI models using their own brand assets. From the best-in-class user-facing experience to integration in Adobe applications to partnering deeply with the research teams you ll be responsible for the end-to-end custom models experience. You will drive the strategy for the future of Custom Models, including extending to new modalities.
This is a highly visible, executive-level leadership role that requires deep expertise in generative AI technology. You will lead multiple product managers, own a critical pillar of the Firefly Enterprise Solutions strategy, and work directly with Adobe s most strategic enterprise customers.
What You'll Do- Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for custom and 3P models.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing PM team.
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation to optimization.
- Partner with research, engineering, data/ML, design, and business teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
- Identify automation opportunities and prioritize by impact and feasibility.
- Set success metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay ahead of AI trends, regulations, and security.
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategies and adoption.
- Work directly with our most strategic customers on product roadmap.
- Communicate roadmap and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Enterprise readiness with security, privacy, data residency, SLAs.
- Model lifecycle with workflows for ingestion, rights, evaluation, deployment, versioning, monitoring, and deprecation.
- MLOps, partnering on training/inference efficiency, latency, and throughput.
- Admin controls with keys, access, permissions, approvals, and reporting.
- 3P partners with defining technical and commercial integration.
- Work with legal to enable 3P models.
- 10+ years in product management; 3-5 years in AI/ML leadership.
- Proven success building and scaling custom models.
- Proven track record of successful partnership with research teams.
- Strong technical fluency in ML/AI systems including MLOps.
- Expertise in metrics, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and ability to influence at all levels.
- Agile and AI-first product development experience.
- Experience working with Enterprise SaaS.
- Customer facing rigor and experience with matrixed orgs.
- Hands-on with LLMs, agent frameworks, orchestration, and advanced AI.
- Experience delivering automation at scale with measurable impact.
- Familiarity with responsible AI, security, and compliance.
- Advanced degree (MS, MBA) or equivalent experience.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $172,400 -- $334,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $231,000 - $334,500. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
