Deep Reach to identify a technical visionary to lead the next generation of Physical AI.
We are hiring a Founding Chief Scientist to lead the development of next-generation robot learning systems for real-world manipulation and deployment. This role owns the technical vision across robot learning models, real-world data generation pipelines, teleoperation/demonstration learning systems, and task-specific model training for deployed robots.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRoadmap:
Set multi-year technical roadmaps, balancing research depth with product velocity.
Robot manipulation, Imitation learning/RL, Multimodal/VLA-style models, 3D perception, Teleoperation systems, or Sim-to-Real pipelines.
Experience:
Proven track record of building real robotic systems (beyond simulation) and training models using real sensor and behavior data.
- Build the Deployment Layer for Physical AI:We focus on the hardest unsolved problem in robotics: making robots work reliably in real production environments.
- Right Market, Right Timing:As the bottleneck shifts from hardware to deployment and real-world learning, you will be building the core solution.
- Own Core Technology From Day One:Define the model, data, and deployment learning loops that will become our long-term technical moat.
