Responsibilities:

* Work with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical methods

* Design, analyze, and interpret insights end-to-end on a project from data requirement gathering to data processing, modeling, and impactful business recommendations

* Partner with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities requiring the use of sophisticated analytical and modeling techniques

* Design, execute, and interpret results of experiments (e.g., A/B testing)

* Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to team leadership and influence strategic decision-making

Minimum Qualifications

* Currently pursuing PhD degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytic etc)

* Experience with data querying and manipulation using SQL, Python, or R

* Experience with data analysis in a scripting language (R, Python, Matlab)

* Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

Preferred Qualifications

* Internship experience in data science

* Research experience in data science

* Experience working with cross functional teams

* Agile, quick self-learner, highly self-motivated with strong sense of product ownership and creative problem solver

* Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast moving, culturally diverse and globally distributed team environment
