Power BI Developer

San Jose, CA (Onsite). Need only locals.

Long term contract/FTE.

• 6+ years of experience on BI Platforms (Power BI/Tableau/Looker), SQL and Python; 8+ years of experience working with large scale data, developing innovative data solutions in a Cloud environment.
• 5+ years of experience on Data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration platforms (Airflow, Mule Soft, Snap Logic);
  Experience with modern Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Data modeling concepts and database design methodologies;
  Build and maintain dashboards to track product and user health;
  Partner closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Growth to drive actionable data requirements;
  Diagnose platform performance gaps and provide recommendations to improve scale;
  Automate and optimize data pipelines using SQL and/or Python-based ETL Frameworks.
• Maintain technical standards and platform documentation (data dictionary, style guide, ERD);
  Assist in growing the business usage of Business Intelligence tools to drive efficiency in reporting.
• Provide constructive feedback during code reviews and be open to receiving feedback on your own code;
  Proactively identify usage trends and communicate relevant insights to assist product decision-making.
• Analytical mindset;
  Provides regular updates, proactive and due diligent to carry out responsibilities;
  Prior experience in working on Agile/Scrum projects with exposure to tools like Jira/Azure Dev Ops.

  Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently;
  Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive relationships with team members.
• Communicate effectively with internal and customer stakeholders;
