* Job Duties:

*** Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
* Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures.
* Analyze Cadence business and engineering requirement and propose solutions that meet or exceed these requirements for building and supporting Data Center Network, WAN, Campus LAN, Wi-Fi infrastructure.
* Design solutions using Cadence-defined standards that use tools and software from network technology providers such as Cisco, Arista, HP/Aruba.
* Configure and support security products to secure Cadence digital assets such as IP, confidential data/documents, and source code.
* Design, implement and provision secure and efficient wireless experience for Cadence employees and guests.
* Ensure appropriate monitoring is enabled for network infrastructure to avoid and limit business impact.
* Achieve the same using Cadence selected monitoring tools such as HP NNMi, APM, BPM, Site Scope along with WAN portals/dashboard provided by respective service providers such as Aryaka, Masergy, Comcast, Verizon, Zayo and more.
* Lead or participate in new product selection using fit-gap analysis that meets or exceeds Cadence business requirement.
* Implement and test new software product features, document “install procedure,” user guides, and incorporate selected product as part of revised standards.
* Provide WAN support for various Cadence sites across different region that involves using SD WAN, MPLS, PTP, Cloud Direct Connect and working with respective ISP circuit providers.
* Select appropriate service offering.
* Provide expertise to troubleshoot complex issues involving multiple components of infrastructure.
* Ensure timely resolutions of network and systems-related issues and minimize business impact.
* Provide root cause analysis for severity issues.
* Improve operational efficiency by keeping documents, "Run Books" up-to-date.
* Add knowledge base articles.
* Train L1/L2 NOC team, analyze system usage and provide capacity forecast for business planning.

* Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in the job offered or in a related engineering occupation. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 2 years of work experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Any suitable combination of experience, education, or training is acceptable.
* Design and implement enterprise, data center networks and cloud connectivity to achieve business objectives
* Network and security fundamentals such as Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) model, LAN and WAN Topologies
* Core network platforms and appliances including Cisco, HP routing, and switching technology products including Cisco ACI and Arista SDN
* Aruba Wi-Fi Controller, access points and Clear Pass policy manager acting as the Network Access Controller (NAC) using dot
1.x standards
* Software Defined Wide Area Network (SDWAN) using next-generation WAN technology including Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS), Point-to-Point, and the Internet
* Cisco VPN for remote access and Palo Alto site-to-site extranet connections
* Design, implement and support application delivery solution using Citrix and F5 load balancer
* Configure and support security products like Palo Alto, Checkpoint to secure digital assets
* Design and provision secure access to employees, partners and customers using VPN, Remote Citrix VDI and Site-to-Site IPsec tunnels along with other supporting tools and services such as AAA, Okta Verify, HID, and Yubi Key Solution.
