• Design and build network security products, including but not limited to DDoS Defense, Web Application Security, Bot Management, Network Detection and Response, etc with high standards.
• Support Bytedance businesses with custom built network security solutions to meet compliance and security requirements.
• Support network security products for external customers.

• 3+ years of experience with networking-related development under Linux environment, especially in C and/or Golang.
• Detailed knowledge of Linux TCP/IP networking stack, experience with XDP/eBPF is valuable.
• Highly motivated, positive, detail-oriented, and responsible.
• Experience of Network Security (e.g., Firewall, VPN, DDoS, SSL Proxies etc.) is a big plus.
• Experience with virtualization/container/cloud technologies is a plus.
• B.S. or advanced degree in Computer Science or other relevant majors.
• Experience in designing/implementing large-scale distributed systems.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $136,800 - $359,720 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
